Wood sculptures

There is something special about working with wood, and I like to take my time with each piece. As a joiner, the skills I have developed have helped me navigate the process of wood sculpting . My preferred choices of timber are hardwoods. It maybe a prime piece or discarded in the firewood pile. I like variation and each piece holds its own individuality. I often have a basic idea then let the piece evolve. Nothing leaves my workshop without being perfect to me.
